How We Work
If the architect is responsible for the size and form of a building, and the structural engineer is responsible for the skeletal system that supports it, the MEP engineer breathes life into the creation. MEP systems allow the building to be occupied and fulfill its ultimate purpose. Nonetheless, the MEP systems are subordinate to the form and must support the architect’s vision. They should perform their job in total anonymity.
We recognize that design is an iterative process and are comfortable operating in a review-and-revise fashion, questioning each design solution. We believe it is essential to take a holistic view of the project and understand that the right solution has not been found until all the needs are properly addressed. We commit to your goals and invest the time to establish a complete understanding of project concerns and requirements.
Our philosophy is grounded in the belief that a thorough set of design documents, and active design team participation through the construction phase, is key to realizing the project’s goals, and controlling costs.
Throughout the project, our engineers will be a reliable, engaged presence. Your advocate and advisors.
