Engineering Better Care
Brooklyn, NY & Chester, NY
The LaSante Health Center
Collado Engineering provided full mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) design services for LaSante Health Center’s expanding network of community healthcare facilities.
In Brooklyn, the firm designed MEP systems for the 7,400-square-foot fit-out of a new clinic on New York Avenue. The project transformed a former commercial space into a state-of-the-art medical center offering general medicine, dental, and behavioral health services. Collado Engineering evaluated existing utilities to confirm system capacities, then designed new, high-performance MEP systems meeting New York State Department of Health standards for outpatient care. The plumbing scope included domestic water, sanitary, and medical gas systems—featuring compressed air and vacuum systems for the dental suite—while electrical systems supported power distribution, lighting, emergency circuits, IT, and security needs.
At a second LaSante Health Center site in Chester, NY, Collado Engineering is providing MEP design services for the 2,374-square-foot conversion of a white box space into a behavioral health and primary care clinic. The scope includes all-new HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, designed for efficiency, code compliance, and seamless integration with existing utilities.
Together, these projects advance LaSante Health Center’s mission to deliver accessible, high-quality care through modern, efficient, and sustainable healthcare environments.
