A Pipeline of Innovative Ideas

The Albert Einstein College of Medicine, a research-intensive medical school is located in the Morris Park section of the Bronx, on a 38.6 acre campus. The campus includes several high rise research laboratories, Jack D. Weiler Hospital, sport complex and student housing.  The research labs and educational facilities are used to research cures, treatments, and preventions for disease. The school currently educates approximately 1,300 students across multiple disciplines.

Collado Engineering was retained, as a subconsultant, to perform conditions assessments of each building on campus. The scope included a review of the emergency power systems, oxygen, vacuum, compressed air, heating and cooling systems and life safety systems. Collado’s reports will be used to determine the short and long term capital improvements and maintenance requirements of the MEP infrastructure.
