Collado provided full Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection engineering services for the NYPD Police Station at the new Yankee Stadium, completed in 2009. The program spaces included offices, locker rooms, toilets, prison toilets, prison cells, utility closet, property room and mechanical spaces.

Designed for 24/7 operation with a self-contained HVAC system, the station is divided into distinct zones supplied by either ceiling suspended or sidewall mounted VRV fan coil units suitable for air re-circulation only, due to the limited headroom in the space.  An air-cooled DX VRV outdoor condensing unit is provided to supply indoor fan coil units.  Plumbing, electrical, fire alarm, telecommunication and sprinklers were coordinated with the base facility services and tied into the services available. A gas-fueled standby generator dedicated to the police station is provided to supply all the Station loads.
