Giving Wild Wings Flight

New York Region

Four M Franchising, LLC

For the New York region’s Buffalo Wild Wings (BWW) franchise, Collado Engineering provided MEP design services for the fit out of multiple restaurant locations in existing buildings, new retail malls and freestanding shopping center pad sites.  Each location presented unique challenges in adapting the BWW corporate standards to meet site conditions. Utility services, including electric, gas, domestic and fire water, sanitary, storm and condenser water, were coordinated with the utility company, property manager and/or the base building engineer.

The HVAC systems varied for each project and included roof top units with gas fired heating, variable refrigerant flow (VRF), and condenser water air conditioner units. The electrical systems were closely coordinated with the architect and BWW corporate standards to provide the lighting and associated controls, point-of-sale, receptacle placement, A/V and security. Fire and life safety systems were installed. Plumbing design included domestic water provisions with primarily gas fired hot water generation, sanitary drainage via grease interceptors where required by code, and gas distribution piping for cooking appliances. All properties were fully sprinkler protected.
